Outdoor Stewards of Conservation Foundation (OSCF) has partnered with Illumine Collect on a new line of apparel designed to celebrate and support America’s foremost stewards and funders of outdoor conservation.
Hunters, Anglers, Trappers and Shooters (HATS) are the primary funders of conservation in the United States. Purchases made by America’s 60+ million active HATS of hunting, fishing and trapping licenses, along with purchases of excised taxed products such as guns, ammo, bows, arrows, rods, reels and lures add up to $3.6 billion each year or $10 million per day.
The Outdoor Stewards of Conservation Foundation’s (OSCF) first-ever apparel line provides HATS with a great opportunity to take pride in being a primary funder of conservation. To commemorate the launch of the new apparel line and bolster support for OSCF’s initiatives, Illumine Collect is donating 40% of the apparel sales to OSCF through September 29, 2024. This initiative aligns with National Hunting and Fishing Day on September 28, a day dedicated to recognizing the significant contributions of hunters and anglers to conservation efforts. The newly introduced apparel line consists of four items:
Primary Funder of Conservation Hoodie – Heather Forest (MSRP: $49.95)
Primary Funder of Conservation Long Sleeve – Heather Forest (MSRP: $34.95)
Primary Funder of Conservation Tee – Heather Forest (MSRP: $29.95)
Primary Funder of Conservation Tee – Heather Orange (MSRP: $29.95)
“It’s past time that HATS takes credit for being primary funders of land, fish and wildlife conservation in America,” said OSCF Executive Director Jim Curcuruto. “Our new apparel line gives HATS a great opportunity to show others they are funding conservation while also supporting OSCF’s efforts to promote the positive contributions of HATS to improve cultural acceptance of hunting, fishing, trapping and target shooting.”
In addition to the apparel launch, Curcuruto recently appeared on the Life In Motion Podcast, hosted by Jeremy Lux. Available everywhere that podcasts stream, Curcuruto and Lux spend the episode engaged in a discussion about OSCF, its initiatives and the pivotal role played by HATS as the primary funders of conservation.
The Outdoor Stewards of Conservation Foundation is dedicated to preserving and protecting America’s natural resources through various conservation programs. By partnering with Illumine Collect, OSCF aims to engage a wider audience and foster a sense of pride among those who contribute to outdoor conservation efforts.
