Titanium suppressors, anticipated renditions, practice cans & a special surprise.
January 20, 2025 — West Valley City, UT — SilencerCo is pleased to announce some of their most exciting product releases to date at SHOT Show 2025. Their new lineup will include the S98, Scythe STM, Spectre 9K and Velos STC. Each of these suppressors has unique features to spice up this year’s SHOT Show. Attendees can stop by Booth #10560 to get a first look at the new releases. Suppressors will become available for purchase at retailers at varying times throughout 2025.
Perhaps the most exciting product release at SHOT this year is SilencerCo’s S98. The S98 is a titanium, fully-welded and eccentric handgun suppressor. Because of its construction, the S98 is the shortest and lightest suppressor in its polygonal class. It’s also scary quiet. The fully-welded design of the S98 almost eliminates the first-round pop noise associated with shooting suppressed.
“This suppressor has the highest quality on every aspect of performance and design,” said SilencerCo CEO, Jonathon Shults. “Although it is more intense to machine, the result is near perfection.”
The Scythe STM is a stainless steel version of SilencerCo’s Scythe-Ti. Its main features include durability and modularity. Because of the stainless steel construction, it’s also full-auto rated. In its short configuration, the Scythe STM is one baffle shorter than the Scythe-Ti and in the long configuration it’s two baffles longer for ultimate sound performance. The Scythe STM was designed for hard use applications. It’s a direct result of customer requests and now it’s finally in the wild.
The Spectre 9K is an inherently cool suppressor. This shorter version of the titanium Spectre 9 handgun suppressor, offers even more lightweight fun. At just 3.17 ounces, it’s half the weight of the SilencerCo’s other popular pistol suppressor, the Omega 9K, while boasting the same impressive sound performance. The Omega 9K remains a solid choice for a sleek and seamless look, while the Spectre 9K brings all the benefits of ultralight titanium. The Spectre 9K will initially only be available in collaborations and to MIL/LE.
“These two new suppressors are ones we always knew we would make once we released the original Spectre 9 and Scythe-Ti,” said SilencerCo VP of Marketing, Mike Aland. “They are a natural progression of the premium line of suppressors we are now producing.”
The Velos STC is a shoot-through training can. It’s completely hollow with no baffles on the inside. This way it can accommodate both live and sim rounds. Plus, it’s a non-NFA item. Now shooters can swap their Velos LBP to the STC when traveling to ban states or training in force-on-force scenarios.
