Team Archers Sweep All Men’s Pro Podium Finishes

Gold Tip®, an industry leader in carbon arrows and bolts, congratulates team archers for their dominance throughout the International Bowhunting Organization (IBO) season. At the culminating event, the 2023 IBO World Championship, Gold Tip archers swept all the Men’s Pro podiums, going a perfect four-for-four in first place finishes to end the archery season.

Beginning in the Pro Men’s Release (PMR) Class, Gold Tip pro Levi Morgan successfully took first place. Morgan concluded the match with a final score of 524 after shooting 103 in the shoot-off. Fellow teammate and staff manager Tim Gillingham followed suit, winning the Pro Senior (PSR) class. Gillingham’s combined score of 504 after shooting 100 in the shoot-off, easily secured him the first-place finish.

Meanwhile, teammate Justin Ertel took first in the Pro Bowhunter class. The clean sweep of first place victories was concluded with Jerry Mullet taking first place in the Male Bowhunter Open (MBO) class, one of the largest classes in amateur IBO shooting. 

“It was a great weekend for Team Gold Tip at the IBO World Championship,” Gillingham said. “To have team archers win all four Men’s Pro classes is an incredible accomplishment and speaks to the depth of talent in our team and their world-class equipment.”

Gillingham continued, “For me personally, I was able to lead the entire tournament and shot solid on the final 10 targets, which were super tough! When it comes down to those final shots, having the confidence and quality of Gold Tip arrows made all the difference.”
