On tonight’s episode of Gun Stories on Outdoor Channel at 7:30 p.m. ET, host and gun enthusiast Joe Mantegna investigates the lesser known, but significantly important, .36 caliber revolver from the Civil War known as the Whitney Navy Revolver.
Now entering its 12th season, Gun Stories takes viewers through a firearm’s history, from the heart of the design through its use on the range as told by actor and gun enthusiast Joe Mantegna.
Joe Mantegna is a veteran Hollywood star and shooting enthusiast. With more than 100 feature film and television credits including Godfather Pt. III, Criminal Minds, and The Simpsons, Mantegna is taking on the role as host of Gun Stories – a series that takes viewers through a firearm’s history, from the heart of the design through its use on the range. For his work that spans more than 40 years, Mantegna received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2011.
