2024 St. Croix Customer Appreciation Day Planned for June 22

St. Croix Rod invites anglers to join in celebration of fishing at its 2024 Customer Appreciation Day, Saturday, June 22 at the St. Croix Factory in Park Falls, Wisconsin.

“Customer Appreciation Day has evolved and grown over the years, but the event’s identity and purpose have remained the same,” says St. Croix Vice President of Marketing, Jesse Simpkins. “It’s a chance for our entire team at St. Croix to express thanks to anglers and celebrate our collective passion for fishing. The opportunity to spend a really fun day getting to know and interacting with anglers face-to-face from around the world is something special, and we look forward to every year.”

Visiting anglers – as many as 2,500 of them – look forward to it as well. “We have anglers who make the trip to Customer Appreciation Day in Park Falls an annual pilgrimage, plus hundreds of new visitors each year,” says St. Croix Vice President of Sales, Steve Self. “They come from as far as Florida, California, and Maine, and we’ve had visitors from Australia and Europe, too. We do everything we can to give everyone who joins us – and even those who participate in CAD online – a meaningful and memorable experience. Our team starts planning months ahead of time, and when the big day arrives it’s all hands on-deck to make sure we offer the best possible experience.”

Anglers attending Customer Appreciation Day are drawn into the St. Croix family and experience something no other rod manufacturer offers on such a personal level. This year’s event will include multiple opportunities to learn about the rod-building process, informative fishing seminars from St. Croix pros, casting demonstrations, a free lunch provided by Johnsonville, ample prize drawings, and – of course – a variety of special, one-day-only deals on St. Croix rods, combos, and apparel, which are available to both in-person and online participants.

“This is our first full year after the launch of our SEVIIN Reels and our reinvigorated St. Croix Fly brands,” adds Simpkins. “So, this year, we’re able to offer CAD attendees even more unique experiences and opportunities. We’ll have a dedicated SEVIIN tent where we can show visiting anglers some of the interesting tests we put the reels through in order to ensure reliability and deliver a worry-free fishing experience. We’ll also have SEVIIN reels spooled up and ready to go at the casting pond so anglers can experience them firsthand. On the fly side, our team is incredibly excited to show anglers the results of the work and energy we’ve put into our new, premium EVOS fly rods, along with another new model we’ll be releasing about the same time as CAD. We’re using a brand-new technology in these rods and can’t wait to get anglers out on the casting pond to let them experience why these rods are so special.”

Meet the St. Croix and SEVIIN Teams – At least 32 sets of hands come in contact with a St. Croix rod before it ever reaches yours, and there are a whole lot more that help design them and bring them to market. Meet the St. Croix and SEVIIN team members who share a passion for crafting the “Best Rods on Earth,” as well as a passion for fishing that matches your own. They talk a lot about the what’s and how’s of making rods and reels, but most of them really just want to talk about fishing and swap stories!
