St George Utah – Vudoo Gun Works, leader in precision rifles and handguns, builds custom Möbius 1911 to be auctioned off at the 47th Annual Alaska Hunting Expo. Auction to be held February 24th, 2024 at the Dena’ina Convention Center in Anchorage, Alaska.

The Möbius 1911 by Vudoo Gun Works is a radical departure from other custom 1911s in that every process has been re-engineered from the ground up using methods common in the aerospace industry. These processes ensure components are manufactured to very close tolerances, allowing for proper assembly and function with an absolute minimum of hand-fitting.  These advancements have led to precise and reliable operation, smooth fit and finish, and lead times that are measured in weeks rather than months.

This fully custom Möbius 1911 features traditionally hand engraved slide with deep relief cuts and Maple wood grips with pearl inlay done and donated by Levi Self. This Mobius 1911 comes with the traditional frame style, a long webbed one piece trigger, adjustable Novak Combat sights, and has special SCI engraving on slide for a truly one of a kind pistol.

The 47th Annual Alaska Hunting Expo and banquet is a two-day sportsman’s extravaganza that includes exhibitors from all over the world and is attended by more than 1,400 of Alaska’s most avid outdoor enthusiasts. The 2023 banquet grossed over $2,000,000, with the net proceeds from this event going directly towards funding programs which support the fight for hunting rights, funding conservation projects, promote outdoor education, and support humanitarian efforts both locally and abroad. SCI Alaska Chapter is the largest nonprofit donor to the Alaska Department of Fish & Games Wildlife Conservation Program, directly contributing $338,069.34 to the program, which equates to a whopping $1,352,277.36 when matched with the Pittman-Robertson trust fund.

“Vudoo Gunworks is proud to be able to support Alaska SCI” said Jacob Herman CEO of Vudoo Gunworks, “The Alaska Chapter leads the fight for hunters and fishermen in our countries last great frontier”
