Outdoor Sportsman Group is proud to announce a multimedia campaign partnership with Folds of Honor, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing educational scholarships to the families of fallen or disabled service members and first responders. Leveraging OSG’s shared passion for the outdoors and commitment to honoring those who have served, this partnership aims to raise awareness and support for the cause while delivering engaging outdoor content to OSG’s enthusiastic audience.

Beginning in Q4, the campaign includes a significant linear TV schedule with  commercials on Outdoor Channel, including naming Friday night primetime programming block “Friday Night Freedom presented by Folds of Honor.”  Plus, Sportsman Channel will host a Veterans Day marathon of programming featuring veterans on hunting and fishing trips on November 11. The partnership will utilize OSG’s portfolio of websites to support key messaging on Veteran’s Day and Giving Tuesday.

“Teaming up with Folds of Honor is a natural and important partnership for Outdoor Sportsman Group. We are deeply committed to honoring our service members and their families, and this collaboration enables us to support them in a substantial way,” shared Matt Hutchings, President & CEO, OSG. “This partnership is more than just a synergy between two organizations; it’s about making a difference and providing opportunities for those who’ve sacrificed so much for our freedoms.”

“We express our profound gratitude for the generous support extended by Outdoor Sportsman Group,” stated Folds of Honor President, Col Nick Nichols. “In my experience, individuals who have a deep affinity for the outdoors often embody strong values and unwavering patriotism. OSG is instrumental in enabling us to connect with this remarkable community. It is through steadfast partners like OSG that Folds of Honor can amplify its mission of delivering life-changing assistance to the families of our revered American heroes.”

Folds of Honor provides scholarships to the spouses and children of fallen or disabled U.S. service members and first responders. Since 2007, the foundation has awarded over 50,000 life-changing educational scholarships totaling about $230 million, with 41% percent awarded to minority recipients. An astounding 90 percent of donated funds go directly toward scholarships, earning Folds of Honor a 4/4 rating on Charity Navigator.

Folds of Honor also has unique partnerships with OSG talent, including Michael Waddell and Bone Collector. Waddell is creating initiatives for Folds of Honor this fall that blend their shared interests in supporting service members and promoting outdoor pursuits. As Waddell stated, “It is an honor and privilege to work with Folds of Honor. This organization is all action when it comes to standing true to their mission statement. They make a difference in people’s and families’ lives daily.”
