Over 800 athletes representing some 76 teams from 31 states will come together and compete for top honors and National Titles at the ACUI/SCTP College National Championships being held at the National Shooting Complex in San Antonio, Texas March 21-25! Industry partners and supporters also show up in support of this historical event taking place at the end of this month.

A powerhouse in the industry-wide support of youth shooting sports, Larry and Brenda Potterfield have confirmed their attendance of the inaugural ACUI/SCTP College National Championship. Showing confidence in the SCTP, the family has attended the SCTP National Championship nearly every year since its inception, along with representatives from The MidwayUSA Foundation in support of the largest youth shooting sports event in the nation.

“To say that we are excited to be hosting Mr. and Mrs. Potterfield at our first ACUI & SCTP Collegiate Clay Target Championship event is an understatement,” said ACUI Program Manager, Taylor Blechschmid. “Their impact on the ACUI Clay Targets Program, and the youth shooting sports community as a whole, is an inspiration to us all. We’re all on the same team when it comes to celebrating collegiate shooting sports, and we cannot wait to continue doing so through our partnership with SCTP and in Texas at our National’s tournament.”

“We couldn’t be more thrilled to have Mr. and Mrs. Potterfield attending the inaugural event where they will be able to see the weight of the ACUI/SCTP partnership in person,” exclaimed SCTP National Director, Tom Wondrash. “Their support of the SCTP program and its member teams throughout the years has been nothing short of incredible and we are excited to share the love of youth development through shooting sports with them at the National Shooting Complex.”
