Coolers are essential elements of outdoor adventures, enabling users to preserve food and drinks for extended periods. But it is crucial that you select an adequate cooler bag in order to ensure both safety and comfort during outdoor adventures.

Yeti Tundra coolers are designed with rugged materials and bear-proof features that set them apart from their competitors, providing maximum camping convenience on weekend camping trips.

Pelican Elite 45

The Pelican Elite 45 cooler is designed for maximum durability. Available in multiple colors and capable of easily fitting 34 cans filled with ice, its freezer-grade gasket and 2 inches of polyurethane insulation will keep them cold for at least a week.

This cooler is ideal for camping trips, fishing trips and leisurely outings of all kinds. Additionally, its bear resistance has passed rigorous testing conducted by the Interagency Grizzly Bear Committee.

This cooler performed well in our insulation tests and features such as molded cup holders, slotted drains, an integral fish scale lid and non-skid and raised feet – making it one of the most reliable models out there! One tester even used it while working on power lines – still with plenty of ice in his cooler!

Yeti Tundra 65

The Yeti Tundra 65 cooler packs serious insulation into an indestructible design. Thanks to its rotomolded construction and armor-like exterior design, it can withstand rugged terrain, heavy impacts and curious wildlife without breaking a sweat.

No matter the storage needs for redfish or brisket, this cooler can do it all. From blind fishing trips to tailgate parties and camping expeditions, its spacious size ensures enough food and beverages are stored for any adventure!

Double-duty handles and LipGrip rope with heavy-duty textured grip make transport easy, while AnchorPoint tie-down slots are quick and simple to tighten down. Nonslip BearFoot feet ensure stability during storage, while its leakproof Vortex drain system provides effortless use.

YETI Wheeled Roadie

Yeti’s Roadie cooler is Yeti’s most portable hard cooler. Equipped with rugged wheels and an extendable handle for maneuverability when full of beverages and picnic goodies.

This Tundra Haul offers slightly reduced capacity and ice retention capabilities than its larger counterpart, yet still stands up well to rigorous use. Its durable rotomolded construction makes it virtually indestructible while its telescoping handle features multiple locking points for secure one-handed carrying.

The Roadie includes one dry goods basket and is compatible with several Yeti accessories, including its cooling divider that doubles as a cutting board and cup caddies; additionally a fishing rod holster is also included. Weighing 13 pounds 1.6 ounces makes the Roadie relatively lightweight for its durable rotomolded build.

BruMate BruTank

The BruMate BruTank cooler is unlike anything else on the market and truly stands out. This rolling cooler can fit up to 50 12-oz slim cans (tall, skinny ones used for seltzer), 48 standard 12-oz cans and 40 pounds of ice; its capacity may even expand based on how you divide up its capacity.

The 35qt version is 30% lighter and more compact than its predecessor while still fitting all your essential items. Perfect for camping trips, beach days or RV journeys!

This rotomolded cooler boasts 7+ day ice retention depending on how you pack it, all-terrain wheels that roll effortlessly over any surface (including sand), an EVA foam bench top, built-in bottle opener and plenty of fantastic accessories!

RollR

The RovR is a sturdy rotomolded cooler on wheels with tie-down points, an external storage bin, and dual chambered dry box. Its rubber latches are thick enough and secure enough to withstand bumps and jostles, while its two-tiered design makes for less awkward storage options than some of the other wheeled coolers we tested that feature awkward wheel wells with oddly-shaped wheel wells inside.

At $400, the RollR is not only our most expensive cooler but also by far the most durable and rugged model we tested. However, its size makes carrying it down hills or over steep grades challenging compared to cheaper ice chests we reviewed, plus it lacks a leash for its drain plug which could prove troublesome to some users.
